The Camberwell City RSL is one of the oldest sub-branches formed in Melbourne in 1919. Major General Harold ‘Pompey’ Elliott was the sub-branch’s first President.
The sub-branch will reach it’s centenary in 2019.
The sub-branch is a very active traditional RSL and has two halls – the Pompey Elliott Memorial Hall and the Kokoda Hall, which are used extensively by a number of community groups and service organisations including Legacy and Military History and Heritage Victoria.
The halls are available for hire to appropriate groups . The Secretary/Treasurer is Peter Fielding who can be contacted on 0419 008 601.
