DESCRIPTION:The Royal United Services Institute – Hobart\, in conjunction with the Institute For Marine and Antarctic Studies at the University of Tasmania\, and with the support of the Australian Institute of International Affairs – Tasmania\, is conducting a major seminar to explore Australia’s security challenges in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. \n \nThe format of the day:\n• 4 key speakers; 35mins each\, plus a 5 minute response from a Responder; plus 20 min Q&A.\n• A final moderated Panel Session with Q&A and thematic discussion arising from the proceedings of the day.
