DESCRIPTION:Royal United Services Institute of Victoria Lunchtime Address\nThursday 27th October 2022 at 1200 for 1230 ANZAC House\, 4 Collins St\, Melbourne \nAndrew Coxall\nAndrew Coxall\nDirector – Acquisition \nTOPIC: The Hunter Class Frigate\nAndy Coxall has led the BAE Systems Maritime Acquisition Batch 1 team on Hunter Class Frigate for the last 12 months. He joined us from the BAE Systems Applied Intelligence division where he has spearheaded the continued growth of the Cyber business in the Middle East and Australia. Prior to this Andy has spent 28 years in the defence sector; beginning with service in the RAAF\, and for the last 20 years working on major BAE Systems Air and Maritime programmes in Australia (LIF)\, UK and Saudi Arabia. Most importantly\, Andy spent 5 years at Portsmouth Navy Base running Class Output Management initially on Royal Navy Type 45 Destroyers\, then all Portsmouth based classes: Type 23 Frigates\, Offshore Patrol\, Mine Hunting and Survey vessels. He also ran support for Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and was responsible for HMS Queen Elizabeth achieving first fixed wing flying trials on time and cost in 2018. \n  \nCoffee and Tea from 12.00 pm.
