SUMMARY:DRA National Conference 2023 Defence Strategic Review: what this means for the ADF’s Reserves
DESCRIPTION:The DRA National Conference is a joint services all-ranks Conference that will be addressed by a panel of distinguished speakers including: \n\nGovernment and Opposition Defence speakers\nSenior Officers of the Australian Defence Force\nLeading commentators on Defence matters\n\n  \nConference Program: \nThe conference program provides opportunities to examine the Defence Strategic Review and its potential ramifications for the ADF Reserves. The DRA Conference Program will be available shortly on dra.org.au \n  \nConduct of the Conference: \nThe Conference will be conducted using a hybrid model involving either attendance in person or by a webinar for those attending virtually.  The Conference will be followed by a joint service\, all-ranks Formal Dinner from 7.00pm.  Spouses/partners welcome. The DRA AGM will be held at the Club on Sun 20 August 2023 from 9.00am to 11.00am. \n  \nWhere: \nUnited Service Club Queensland\, 183 Wickham Terrace\, Spring Hill QLD 2000; close to the centre of Brisbane. \n  \nWhen: \nSaturday 19 August 2023 from 8.30am to 5.00pm AEST. \n  \nCost: \n\nConference only is $85 per person (including morning tea\, lunch and afternoon tea).\nConference and Dinner is $ (limited alcohol). Conference and 2 persons for Dinner is $285\nOnline Conference is $20 (No charge for DRA members). The presentations will remain accessible at this cost for a limited period.  To join DRA visit the DRA website dra.org.au.  DRA members should contact their State Secretary for an access code to access the online conference at no charge.\n\n  \nRegistration: \n\nFor all registrations click this link: \n\nhttps://events.humanitix.com/defence-reserves-association-national-conference-2023 \nNote registrations\, except online registration\, strictly open until cob Thursday 10 August 23 only.  After registering\, you will receive a confirmation email with a Joining Instruction.  Conference attendees who are DRA members will be able to access presentations from the Conference following the conference. \nAccommodation: \nUnited Service Club Queensland is offering Rooms from $230 per night. Reservations can be made by calling 07 3831 4433.
