DESCRIPTION:Official Wreath Laying Ceremony commemorating the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Crete at the forecourt of the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne\, immediately followed by a ceremony at the Australian Hellenic Memorial in the Domain Gardens of Melbourne hosted by the Australian Hellenic Memorial Foundation.\n \nThe events will also be attended by the Consul General for Greece in Melbourne\, Senior Representatives of the Hellenic Armed Forces visiting from Greece for the occasion\, our Australian Defence Forces\, Veteran associations and Victoria’s Greek Australian Community. \nKindly respond to this invitation by email to Joanna Psarakis (b.c.g.c.c.41@gmail.com) no later than Friday 9th May 2025. \nYour response must include which events you are able to attend\, and whether you will be bringing a wreath to lay at the Shrine of Remembrance. \nShould you have any inquiries\, please do not hesitate to contact Natasha Spanos at 0449 232 783
