MHHV 2012 Conference to be held at the Grand Hyatt, Melbourne

In the Shadow of War – Australia 1942 will be held at the prestigious Grand Hyatt in Melbourne’s CBD…

Positioned at the heart of bustling, cosmopolitan Melbourne the five-star Grand Hyatt’s excellent conference and events facilities will be the venue for MHHV’s international conference In the Shadow of War – Australia 1942, to be held over 21-22 April 2012.

Colonel Fielding said ‘The Grand Hyatt is a superb venue for the MHHV 2012 Conference, which will kick off Military History and Heritage Week over 21-27 April.  Delegates to our conference will be able to experience not just a first class military history conference with world-class speakers, but also the distinctive 5 star atmosphere of a leading international hotel.

He added that the extensive conference room precinct features ample space for MHHV member and supporting organisations to provide a wide range of interesting displays and information reflective of the theme of the conference.’

One of Australia’s most eminent military historians will be the key-note speaker at the conference, for which ‘early bird’ registrations will open in September 2011.
