Annual General Meeting – 58th/32nd Infantry Battalion Association Inc

The Association’s annual general meeting will be held at the Keilor East RSL on Friday 1 May 2026 at 11:00am. All members are welcome. One of the agenda items will be the election of the Committee for 2026/27.

Elections will be held for: • four Office bearers – President; Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer; and • five ordinary members.

The principal responsibilities of the office bearers are:
President
• Overall leadership of the Association.
• Chairing of Committee and general meetings.
• Liaison with external bodies.
• ANZAC Day.
• Remembrance Day.
• Liaison with D Coy 5/6 RVR.
• One of the two bank signatories.

Vice President
• Tasks delegated by the President.
• Deputise for the President when required.

Secretary
• Production of the agenda and minutes of committee meetings and general meetings.
• Maintenance of the Register of Members.
• Annual report.
• Production of the Newsletter.
• Updating of the Rules.

Treasurer
• Budget.
• Regular financial statements.
• Grant applications.
• One of the two bank signatories.

Any member wishing to nominate for the Committee is requested to email the Secretary, Tim Brown at htbrown@bigpond.net.au by 5:00pm on 24 April 2026 indicating the role for which they are nominating.

Nominations will also be accepted at the AGM. If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies, an election will be held.
