Explore the unknown historical significance of Lemnos

From Jason of the Argonauts to the ANZACs at Gallipoli.

Doctor Tony Whitfield who with Roger Hawthorn of Swinburne Law School have written a book that explores the unknown historical significance of Lemnos – an island that lays claim to the oldest democratic council chamber in the civilised World.

Tony and wife Despina have lived on the island and have a close at hand experience of the History of this marvellous island.

Tony will attend the Queenscliff/Point Lonsdale RSL Sub-Branch on Friday 20th March from 3.00pm and speak on this fascinating history for around 45 minutes.
