Vietnam Veterans’ Lunch

With special guest Major General David McLachlan AOVietnam Veterans’ Luncheon with Major General David McLachlan AO 2017 marks the 51st anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan. Please join us to honour those who served in Vietnam with special guest speaker Major General David McLachlan AO.

General McLachlan graduated from the Officer Cadet School, Portsea in 1959 and served in the Australian Army until 1994. He served in Malaysia, South Vietnam, the UK and Germany,
rising to the rank of Major General and being appointed General Officer Commanding Logistic Command.

He was elected State President of the Victorian branch of the RSL in June 2002, retiring in February 2017. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1989 and became an Officer in the Order in 1994 and continues to be involved in a number of organizations in the Victorian community.

Venue: Club Pavilion, Level 2, RACV City Club

Date: Fri 11 Aug, noon for 12.30pm-3pm

Cost: $80 pp includes two course lunch and beverages.
