Security Challenges Of Antarctica And The Southern Ocean – RUSI-Tasmania

The Royal United Services Institute – Hobart, in conjunction with the Institute For Marine and Antarctic Studies at the University of Tasmania, and with the support of the Australian Institute of International Affairs – Tasmania, is conducting a major seminar to explore Australia’s security challenges in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.

The format of the day:
• 4 key speakers; 35mins each, plus a 5 minute response from a Responder; plus 20 min Q&A.
• A final moderated Panel Session with Q&A and thematic discussion arising from the proceedings of the day. The Panel will consist of Speakers, Responders and potentially other invtited panel member
• All sessions will have rapporteurs to help guide the final panel discussion.
