A walk through WWI Port Melbourne

January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am

This fascinating walk will begin at Port Melbourne’s Piers and end at the Port Melbourne Town Hall.
Port Melbourne’s local contribution to the war intersects with the broader Victorian story. Most service men and women left and returned to Port Melbourne’s piers.

Every street in Port tells a war story, and the Piers have too many stories to tell.

At the Port Melbourne Town Hall a precious record of contribution will be shown.
