Major General Jim Barry AM,MBE,RFD,ED (Retd) served in the Australian Defence Force as a Reservist, enlisting in Artillery in 1951 and retiring as Commander of the Third Division in 1989. As well as his distinguished career as a Citizen soldier, he has been a prominent businessman, Olympic Sports Administrator and Community Leader. He became National President of the Defence Reserves Association in 2008. MAJGEN Jim Barry is Patron of MHHV.
